Well it's official, the weather has already hit summer temperatures as Florida is sailing into the mid-90s as we end the month of May. In an effort to stay safe in high-temps this summer here are a few important tips to keep in mind when being active outdoors....
Drink plenty of water, hydrating frequently
Stay in shaded areas when possible
Wear loose fitting, light weight garments
Wear sun protection (sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, etc)
Try to limit sun exposure during peak hours
Take frequent breaks
Workout during early morning or evening hours when possible
